We love our Silver Oak Community
Silver Oak is an elegant community of 270 single family homes in 3 neighborhoods: The Estates, The Enclave and The Vineyards located on Central Sarasota Parkway off Honore Avenue.
The 179 designer homes in The Estates are primarily 4 BR, 3 bath with 3 car garages and 1/3 acre lots. Sold prices in 2024 ranged from 1.0 to 1.65 million. HOA fees are reasonable at only $302 per month since there is not a clubhouse or golf course to support. Our beautiful, mature oak trees are now 20 years old compared to newer developments with smaller lots and fewer and much smaller trees. Our individual homes also have extensive mature landscaping that add to the beauty of Silver Oak.
Our residents are a mix of active and retired professionals with a small number of families with children. About 30% of residents are snowbirds with homes up north.

Social mixer: 2nd or 3rd Friday 6-8pm. Rotating hosts.
Majong: Mondays 1pm, rotating hosts.
Nature Walks: on Saturdays as scheduled.
Silver Oak is only 5-10 minutes to the new Publix grocery, the Legacy bike trail, the YMCA, peaceful Potter Park and Oscar Scheer State Park. We are also less than 20 minutes to beautiful Nokomis Beach, Downtown Venice, Venice Beach and Siesta Key Beach, ranked the #1 beach in the USA. Downtown Sarasota is less than 30 minutes away with many theaters, Sarasota Opera, art galleries, Sarasota Marina and park, live music in many venues, and lots of interesting shops and wonderful restaurants.
We are a very well managed community with our Home Owners Board consisting of fellow residents who have had extensive and successful business experience. Thanks to them, our HOA fees are only $3600 per year per household and our reserves are over $800,000.
